The Girls Who Get Around travel blog is an independently operated niche blog encouraging adventurous travel and off-the-beaten path journeys. Go solo, go with a friend, go with a group, we don’t care; just go. The writing and travel style most appeal to outdoor enthusiasts, backpackers, hikers, campers, hostel dwellers, and non-luxury travelers between the ages of 25 and 45. (Although, my parents are nearly 60 and they love it, but I’m aware of their bias.)

The Girls Who Get Around travel blog boasts an edgy, energetic, and nearly fearless personality paired with trips that match. We have a quirky sense of humor and find the most value in connecting with our readers through honest observations of an experience. Nothing is sacred. We’ll go there.

While seemingly carefree, we take great pride in encouraging travel to connect with people by experiencing and appreciating cultures, animals, and nature. We do our best to promote intelligent, sustainable travel and act as courteous guests.
