Welcome, and thanks for stopping by. I’m Beth and this is my little corner of the Web to share my chaotic tales of adventure and exploration, and hopefully inspire you to do really irresponsible things, like quit your job and travel the world. I was a born instigator!
Freelance writing and contract work support my travel addiction—technical, copy, whatever. I will write for food. I dream of the day I have a savings account, but I start squirming and get the hell outta dodge every time I do. It’s who I am. I love traveling, writing, reading, observing, listening, and experiencing. (I also love the serial comma and refuse to stop using it.)
I taught high school English in Chicago for four years, have a BA in English and a MA in Secondary Education.
Currently, I’m living in Seattle but am a born-and-raised small town, Midwesterner. We don’t really go cow-tipping. No one does that.
I hope you enjoy my stories.
Happy travels,
Beth
